DDG SOLD TO SUBSIDIARY OF BCT AND DDG PRINCIPALS

As of October 13, 2016, DDG has completed the sale of its business to a subsidiary comprised of BCT Architects and a group of its current Principals.

President of RHI Studio, Roy Higgs (DDG’s Founder Emeritus), will join current DDG and BCT Principals as an advisor to the company. The return of former DDG leaders and investment from BCT will ensure the continued operations of DDG as an award-winning international design firm. This partnership will have no effect on RHI Studio’s current clients or operations, but may provide unique opportunities to both firms.

DDG Principal Tony van Vilet has stated:
“DDG is continuing all its design contracts and looks forward to expanding its presence and operations around the world. We are known for our ability to deliver dynamic, extraordinary solutions for place-making in cities, towns and suburbs all over the world. DDG’s value is in its talented, experienced and passionate interdisciplinary design team; in-depth understanding of commercial development; in the trust and loyalty built with longtime clients both internationally and in the US; and in the esteemed brand established within the global marketplace. All of these values are strengthened by this restructuring.”
